NORFOLK, Va. (Sept. 8, 2021)-Morgan State junior Rachel Field was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, as announced by the conference office today.
 
The San Tan Valley, Ariz., native ran the MEAC's fastest 4K time of the weekend on the women's side, running a time of 16:17.3 at the Towson Invitational on Saturday to place 17^th.
 
Field and the Morgan State women's cross country team will be back in action this Saturday, Sept. 11, when the Lady Bears travel to Smyrna, Del. for the Delaware State Sting Invite.
