Rubin "Whirlwind" Smith was an All-American candidate and one of the brightest stars in Morgan's history.

A breakaway threat who had all the necessary moves. Helped Morgan put together fifty-four game streak without a loss.

He was too quick for his blockers, and too eluzive for his tacklers. Possessed great acceleration and timing.
