John “Trip” Triplett, originally from Abington, Pa., was a member of the undefeated football team of 1949 which was conference and National champions.

He was also a member of the undefeated team of 1950. “Trip” was the co-captain of the 1951-52 football teams. “Trip” was one of the great running and black backs of nay day.

He possessed great speed, and was the fifth member of the great mile relay team of the 1950’s.

“Trip” is now employed by National Brewery Company as a District Manager.
