John "Johnnie" Sturgis was left-halfback of the "4-Horsemen" -- and was javelin record holder in C.I.A.A. (202-11"). Perhaps the most conditioned athlete to perform at the College.

A sensational offensive and defensive star -- A superior open field runner, one of the best that Morgan ever produced. A great runner, passer, placekicker and a talented kick-off specialist.
