James "Sunny Jim" Williams was a three-time All-C.I.A.A. selection. He was a stalwart on Morgan's defensive line where the team scored 316 points to the opposition's 6 points.

He was a hero of the early Virginia State Classic. A born leader who inspired his teammates to overcome innumerable obstacles.

Jim was the youngest of the famous Williams Brothers, who led Morgan to national acclaim.
