“Battle of the Beltway” to be Televised on ESPNU

BALTIMORE, Md. — The Morgan State vs. Howard football game on Thursday, Oct. 15 will be televised LIVE on ESPNU as part of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's 2009 football TV package with ESPN, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

The game will be played at MSU's Hughes Stadium and will kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

Morgan State came away with a dramatic 31-30 overtime win at Howard last year. The Bears currently hold a 38-30-3 series record against the Bison.

ESPNU is available nationwide in more than 47 million households and has long-term agreements with nine of the top 10 TV providers - Charter, Comcast, Cox, DirecTV (Channel 614), DISH Network (Channel 148), Mediacom, Time Warner Cable, Verizon FiOS TV and AT&T U-verse.
