The Opening Tip
Morgan State, the 2009 MEAC champion, will attempt to win its third game of the 2009-10 season when they host non-conference opponent East Tennessee State on Thursday night at 7 p.m. in Hill Field House.
The Last Time Out
Morgan State defeated UMBC 72-57 on Sunday night at the RAC Arena in Baltimore. The Bears were led by Reggie Holmes, a 6-foot-4 senior, who posted a game-high 23 points and Kevin Thompson added 10 points, 10 boards and two blocked shots. Senior guard Troy Smith chipped in 11 points with seven boards.

Thursday night's game will mark the first ever match-up between the teams.
Road Swing
Following the East Tennessee State, Morgan will begin a three-game road swing when it travels to tip-off against Louisville (Nov. 22; 1 p.m.), Arkansas (Nov. 24; 8 p.m.), and at Appalachian State (Nov. 28; 3 p.m.).
