The Bears (3-6) will travel to Chicago, Illinois to take on the DePaul Blue Demons at Allstate Arena on Wednesday, Dec. 10. The game will mark the first meeting between the teams in school history. The Bears dominated cross-town rival Coppin State en route to a 62-48 win at home on Saturday night. The win marked the Bears first Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference win of the season. Holmes & Kately Shouldering the Load
Senior forward Marquise Kately and junior guard Reggie Holmes are scoring most of the points for the Bears through nine games. Kately is averaging a team-high 32.8 minutes, 9.4 points and a team-high 6.2 rebounds per game. Holmes, who comes off the bench as the Bears' 6th man, leads the Bears in scoring (12.9 ppg) and is averaging 4.0 rebounds and 24.0 minutes per game.
