The Morgan State softball team will host Hampton in a three-game Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) series beginning this Saturday at noon at the Coppin State Field on the campus of Coppin State. The MEAC series, which was to be the Lady Bears’ home as well as MEAC home opener, has been moved to Coppin State because Morgan State's Lois T. Murray Field is not playable. The series will conclude on Sunday at noon.

Morgan State sophomore third baseman, Tamra Griffin was named to the All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) first team during Wednesday’s pre-tournament banquet at the Center for Civil Engagement on the campus of Bethune-Cookman University. All-conference honors were voted on by the league’s head softball coaches and sports information directors.
